Review by hotel critic
During my recent revisit to Lac Bleu, I was reminded of the charm it holds. This boutique ski hotel remains a little gem off the typical ski trail. After all, it’s easy to overlook its offerings when the Thrills & Spills crowd is out there seeking adrenaline. My daughter and I found comfort in the cruisy blue runs nearby—perfect for lazy skiing aficionados like us. The owner and his attentive staff made our stay smooth; their warmth really enhances the experience. The ski pass vendor on-site is a significant convenience, alongside ski equipment hire, eliminating that pre-trip scramble. After a long day on the slopes, the bar/lounge area offers a relaxing retreat, and we appreciated the welcome drink upon arrival. While it may not be the cheapest option, the value lies in the personal touch and location. If you're after a laid-back ski experience, Lac Bleu is worth considering—just keep in mind the balance between luxury and cost.
